Korean webtoon IP production company Jaedam Media announced on October 1 that it has signed a contract with France-based Animation Digital Network (ADN), both an animation production studio and streaming platform, to develop an animated adaptation of the Hero Killer webtoon.

The agreement was finalized at the 2025 SPP International Content Market. ADN is a major European animation producer and distributor, known for its partnerships with leading studios and for delivering content across France and other European markets.

Hero Killer is one of Naver Webtoon's popular ongoing series. Written by Kkulbeol and drawn by Beolkkul, Hero Killer follows protagonist Lee Hwa, who becomes determined to take revenge on the “heroes” after one kills her sister. The action-fantasy series has gained a strong following since its serialization on Naver Webtoon and is available in eight countries, including the United States, Japan, France, and Thailand.

In addition to Hero Killer, Jaedam Media is also preparing live-action adaptations of several of its other webtoon titles, such as the planned adaptation of the Lotto 1st Place Winner Goes to Work webtoon and web novel.

Fans can read the English version of Hero Killer on WEBTOON.
