Konami Teases Silent Hill Remake with Bloober Team

Konami teased during the Konami Press Start livestream on Thursday that a Silent Hill remake project is in development in partnership with Silent Hill 2 Remake's Polish game studio Bloober Team. The company streamed a teaser for the project as well as a developer diary video for Silent Hill f, an all-new game in the horror game franchise (begins at about 35:57 in video below):

Bloober Team announced in February 25 that it was working on a new project with Konami following the success of its Silent Hill 2 Remake remake. The new project will be based on a Konami IP. Konami will also retain rights and serve as the publisher for the game.

Silent Hill 2 Remake launched in October 2024 for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam.

Silent Hill f will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on September 25.

Konami released Silent Hill: The Short Message as a free title for PlayStation 5 in January 2024.

Christophe Gans is directing a new Return to Silent Hill live-action film, starring Jeremy Irvine (War Horse) and Hannah Emily Anderson (Dark Phoenix, Jigsaw). Filming began in April 2023.

Tthe Silent Hill: Ascension "interactive streaming series" game project launched in October 2023, and concluded in April 2024.

Silent Hill: Townfall will be a co-production between No Code (Stories Untold, Observation) and Annapurna Interactive (Stray). Konami has not revealed a release date or additional information about the project.
