Crunchyroll to Stream With You and the Rain, Otherworldly Munchkin, Let's Play Anime

Crunchyroll announced on Tuesday that it will stream the With You and the RainOtherworldly Munchkin: Let's Speedrun the Dungeon with Only 1 HP, and Let's Play anime.

In addition to the premiere for the Let's Play anime, the company will screen the world premiere for the May I Ask for One Final Thing? anime at this year's Anime Expo on July 3. The company will also screen premieres for Let This Grieving Soul Retire!, Dekin no Mogura: The Earthbound Mole, A Couple of Cuckoos Season 2, Onmyo Kaiten Re:Birth Verse, Clevatess, The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 4, and Solo Camping for Two on July 3. The premiere for Dr. Stone: Science Future at Anime Expo will be on July 5.

Crunchyroll will stream the television anime of Kō Nikaido's With You and the Rain (Ame to Kimi to) manga in July worldwide excluding Asia, but including India and Southeast Asia.

The anime will premiere in July and will air on TV Asahi and 23 other affiliate channels in the "NUMAnimation" programming block.

Kodansha USA Publishing is releasing the manga digitally in English, and it describes the story:

If it looks like a dog and acts like a dog and insists it's a dog, it's…a dog? Probably? She adopted it anyway, and her life with this “dog” will never be boring!

Tomohiro Tsukimisato (Kirakira Kirari☆, Bikkuri-Men, Tanuki to Kitsune) is directing the anime at Lesprit. Tōko Machida (7th Time Loop: The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life, Battle Game in 5 Seconds) is in charge of series scripts, and Ayano Ōwada (Bikkuri-Men, How Clumsy you are, Miss Ueno) is designing the characters.

Crunchyroll will stream the anime adaptation of Yū Shimizu and Makoto Aogiri's Otherworldly Munchkin: Let's Speedrun the Dungeon with Only 1 HP (Isekai Munchkin: HP 1 no Mama de Saikyō Saisoku Danjon Kōryaku) manga in October worldwide excluding Asia, but including India.

The anime will debut in October.

Kodansha USA Publishing releases the manga digitally and describes the story:

16-year-old Yukito Kirihara lives with his 14-year-old sister Sana, who he treasures more than anyone else. But when an ogre shows up outside of his window looking for Sana (a shocking event in its own right), Yukito leaps to save her—and is killed. He's offered the promise of reincarnation by a mysterious woman, who gives him a character sheet in a mysterious book. But when Yukito sees Sana in there, too, he sets off to find her, and save them both—even if he only has 1 hp with which to do it!

Kei Yoshimizu (Zumomo to Nupepe) and Naoya Fukushi (Kaito × Ansa) are directing the anime at Durandal. Hiroshi Hosokawa is in charge of series scripts, Mamoru Yokota and Yui Katō (Kaito × Ansa) are designing the characters. Katō is also the chief animation director.

Studio OLM's anime adaptation of Leeanne M. Krecic's (also known as "Mongie") Let's Play web comic premieres in 2025.

Crunchyroll will screen the world premiere at Anime Expo on July 3 with creator Leeanne M. Krecic, director Daiki Tomiyasu, and producers Heather Horn, Hana Sugawara, and Minaka Sakamoto in attendance.

Rocketship Entertainment is releasing the comic in English, and it released the fourth volume in July 2024. Rocketship Entertainment describes the story:

She's young, single and about to achieve her dream of creating incredible video games. But then life throws her a one-two punch: a popular streamer gives her first game a scathing review.

Even worse, she finds out that same troublesome critic is now her new neighbor! A funny, sexy, and all-too-real story about gaming, memes, and social anxiety.

Daiki Tomiyasu (Pokémon Sun & Moon) is directing the anime at OLM. Ebimo (High Card) is designing the characters. Aya Matsui (Marmalade Boy) is handling the series composition. Slowcurve is in charge of planning and production.
