The official X (formerly Twitter) account for Kodansha's Magazine Pocket service announced on Wednesday Todai Revengers (Tokyo University Revengers) manga artist Shinpei Funatsu will launch a new series titled Heisei Tensei (Heisei Reincarnation) on the platform on October 16.

Funatsu launched Todai Revengers – a parody spinoff of Ken Wakui's Tokyo Revengers manga – in Kodansha's Magazine Pocket app and website in November 2021. Funatsu ended the series with the sixth volume in May 2023. Seven Seas Entertainment is publishing the manga in English in 2-in-1 omnibus volumes, and released the third and final volume on July 22.
